Dr. Karthikeyan Bose is the Research Head at Mytosis Biotech, where he leads translational research focused on cardiovascular biology, mitochondrial function, cellular stress signaling, precision medicine, and biotechnology innovation.

After earning his Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Dr. Bose completed over eight years of postdoctoral research at the Cleveland Clinic and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), USA, investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiomyopathy, mitochondrial dysfunction, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and cardiovascular development. He subsequently served as an Instructor at OHSU, contributing to research in developmental cardiovascular biology and translational disease models.

His research has resulted in publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals and collaborations with leading scientists in cardiovascular genetics, stem cell biology, developmental biology, and molecular medicine.

At Mytosis Biotech, Dr. Bose leads multidisciplinary research aimed at translating fundamental biological discoveries into practical healthcare innovations through industry-academia collaboration. His current research focuses on cardiomyopathy, cellular resilience, mitochondrial biology, biomarker discovery, precision therapeutics, and evidence-based functional nutrition.
